When it comes to flavor, community, and freshness — we're not your typical deli.
Our story begins in the 1950s, when a small grocery, deli, and dairy store opened its doors in Port Washington under the name Ziggy’s Harbor Dairy. About a decade later, it became what the community would know and love as Harbor Deli.
In June of 1997, Harry DeFeo purchased the deli alongside his wife Diane, carrying forward a family-first mindset that still guides everything we do today. Harbor Deli has always been about more than just food — it’s about community, consistency, and making sure every customer feels right at home.
